TENAA, the Chinese electronics certifications agency recently certified the next generation of Asus’s gaming smartphone – the ROG Phone 3. This revealed most of its key hardware specifications.
The phone will be powered by SD 865+ processor clocked at 3.091GHz. It will have several RAM options- 8GB, 12GB and 16GB; and will have 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB as of storage options. As usual, the phone will run on Android 10 and will be powered by a 5,800mAh battery. The phone will also sport a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2340×1080 resolution and will be equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner and 144 Hz refresh rate like the ROG Phone 2.
As far as looks and aesthetics are concerned, the device might not look a whole different from its predecessor, the ROG Phone 2. The phone will have a horizontal camera array at the back, and in the front, it will have thin bezels to house the front camera. A massive Asus ROG logo is present in the back. As per the TENAA listing, the dimensions of the phone are 171 mm x 78 mm x 9.85 mm and weigh 240gms. This means that it will remain hefty just like its predecessor.
The device has been spotted in AnTuTu. Its scores are as high as, 183,149 for the CPU and 247,932 for the GPU. In terms of memory and UI, the phone scores 111,239 and 103,990, respectively.
Now we will have to wait for the official launch and comment down below as to what should be the pricing of the phone in India and other global markets.
